Yoga Instructor, RN, LMT. Teaching Pilates since 2010 Christa is a firm believer in mind/ body fitness disciplines. She added yoga to her repertoire in 2014 and became 200 hour certified through YogaFaith in 2016. She is also certified through NETA (National Exercise Trainers Association) as a group exercise trainer. Besides teaching classes she relies on the principles of yoga to promote health in her work as an RN and Licensed Massage Therapist. She holds a certification as a Lifestyle Coach in Intrinsic Coaching. In recent years she became certified as a Diabetes Prevention Program Coach and also gained her Level 2 Diabetes Educator Certification through the AADE (American Association of Diabetes Educators). She and her husband Ron Rogers, DC, CSCS (Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist) have lived in Ocean Shores since 1990. Ron and Christa have occasionally co-taught specialty back pain yoga classes at the Oyhut Bay studio. Together they raised their daughters near the ocean preferring the joys of small town life to the big city. On sunny days you might find her running on the beach, on rainy days she prefers yoga or reading indoors. Her favorite times of course are those moments spent playing with her five grandchildren indoors or out! A humble student of yoga as well as a teacher, her goal is to continue to strive for lifelong learning, and increased understanding of the world around us. She appreciates the opportunity to teach, a responsibility she looks on as a privilege.
